A week ago I meet with my friend Josie, who lives at Vesterbro in Copenhagen. We dropped by Café Dyrehaven, which is a nice little spot with affordable food, sunlight on the sidewalk where you are seated and a vibrant vibe in the neighborhood.
If you haven’t visited Vesterbro and you like areas such as Williamsburg in New York, Kreuzberg in Berlin, Florentin in Tel Aviv, you will without a doubt love Vesterbro. The neighborhood has recently been elected the 4th most hipster city in the world.
Caféen is located at Sønder Boulevard where there’s always a lot of people out for a stroll, enjoying a coffee at a café or sitting on a blanket on the grass, catching up. This part of Copenhagen is always full of life.
At Café Dyrehaven we enjoy a traditional Danish lunch, “hønsesalat & rugbrød” (ol’ fashioned chicken salad with bacon and black bread”. Delicious!
