I love sundays. Especially those where you meet up with people you care about and have a lovely brunch. Last sunday was one of those days.
Here is a little tip for one of Amager’s hidden gems Ingolfs kaffebar, which is hide away on a residential street on Amager. None the less it is worth a visit. Ingolfs kaffebar is relaxed, the food is homemade and there is a really nice court yard, where you can enjoy your food in the sun. Really nice.
One can choose between a classic Ingolf brunch and a vegetarian version for 139 dkk. without drinks. I allways go for the veggie version.
The chefs are quite creative with the sweet stuff. We tried out this raw chocolate cake, made of among others avocado, dates and cocoa. I’m not sure whether I am a fan – the avocado contributes with a little funny taste, but I love that you find healthy choices. Next time I will go for the homemade bounty which looked amazing too.
When you find yourself at Amager and you’re an ice cream fan, I have a good reason to bike a little further. Here you can find one of my favorite ice cream shops Ismageriet. They produce the best ice cream – the licorice one is just perfect.
